OUC Economic Development Rates

We offer a variety of incentives and rebates to new, expanding, or relocating businesses. Our team is ready to find the best options for your business.

Commercial Industrial Service Rate (CISR)

Our Commercial Industrial Service Rate (CISR) was designed to attract new or existing, large power users to Orlando as part of a competitive economic development location project. Power contracts and rates can be negotiated if businesses meet several criteria such as having a load of 2 MW or greater, served by a single meter.

Our Economic Development Rate (EDR)

Our Economic Development Rate (EDR) is an economic incentive designed to help attract new investment to the Sunshine State and create more jobs for Floridians. Businesses must add a minimum of 500-kilowatt demand of new electric load and create at least 25 new, full-time positions in the Central Florida area. Eligible companies receive declining discounts on their standard base energy and demand charges over four years.
